The Mugs, a cozy coffee shop tucked in the corner of Golden Springs Plaza in Diamond Bar, has become my new favorite spot for studying or chatting over caffeinated beverages.
Being a college student, I am always on the lookout for spacious and well-lit spaces to study off campus, which is why I’m thankful I stumbled upon The Mugs. This shop has free wi-fi, ample seating and a great selection of drinks, pastries, sandwiches and desserts.

The Mugs definitely has an aesthetically pleasing vibe. (Photo taken by me)
The natural sunlight from the open windows and the chill background music created a very calming ambience, perfect for sparking productivity and focus.
My friend and I both ordered earl gray lattes with oat milk. I would’ve preferred the earl gray to have a stronger taste and be less milky, but it was still delicious and refreshing. Their menu also features a good tea selection, with unique options like sencha, passionfruit jasmine and french lemon ginger.

We sat at a communal table, secluded in the corner of the shop, so we could focus on our projects. The only flaw was that the entire table only had one wall outlet.

A great space for working on creative projects, but it could use more outlets. (Photo taken by me)
I highly recommend visiting The Mugs, the next time you’re craving a tea latte or need a place to study.
