Hey lovelies!
I knoooooow, I haven’t been keeping up with my monthly favorites. But, I didn’t want to completely neglect September, October, and November, so I decided to compile all of my favorites from those three months into a Fall Favorites post!
Beauty + Hair
Lately, I’ve been really into false lashes! I love how full these lashes are and how they totally complete my eye makeup. They’re also super affordable and can be found at your local drugstore for only $4!
This lip color is the most perfect Fall shade. When I feel like wearing a matte lippie, I usually wear Colourpop but I’m starting to really like NYX! NYX’s matte liquid lipsticks are a lot less drying than Colourpop’s formula and a lot more comfortable!
Ok, if you’re looking for an affordable and easy to use contour kit, THIS IS THE ONE. It’s only six dollars and is perfect if you’re a newbie to contour!
Dry shampoo saves lives. Honestly. I wash my hair every other day, so for the “non-wash” days, I spray this dry shampoo and my hair feels fresh and clean! This spray also smells really good and helps give volume to flat hair.
Fashion
- Over the Shoulder Tops
Fall weather is definitely not cold in SoCal. In the months of September, October and November, the coldest it ever got was seventy-five degrees! My go-to outfit usually ended up being an over the shoulder top, skinny jeans, and booties!
- Taupe Heel Booties
Heel booties are definitely a closet essential. They dress up even the most simple outfits!
- Bomber Jackets
I tried sooooo hard not to cave into the bomber jacket hype, but then I found a super cute champagne colored one and had to buy it! It keeps me pretty warm and is easy to just throw on when I’m in a rush!
- Dad Hats
I love the dad hat trend. I think dad hats are an easy way to put some personality into your outfit! The pink one I’m wearing is from Francesca’s.
- Fur Pom Poms
I have a very unhealthy obsession with fur pom pom key chains. I cannot wear a purse without a fur pom pom on it! (Check my Instagram if you don’t believe me!) I love collecting these furry keychains and finding good deals on them! If you’re searching for pom poms, here’s some advice: never pay more than $15 for a single keychain. Trust me, you can find them for cheaper if you look hard enough! I found a bunch of cheap, but high quality ones while thrifting!
Music
- The Weeknd, Starboy
I am SUPER obsessed with this album. There isn’t a single song that I skip or don’t like. “Love to Lay” and “Die For You” are my absolute fave tracks!
- Yuna
Yuna has the most gorgeous voice! I’ve been listening to her music on repeat lately, since her songs are perfect for studying or just chilling. My personal faves are “Crush”, “Colors”, and “Lights and Cameras.”
That’s it for my Fall Favorites! These past few months have been very hectic for me personally, so I apologize for the lack of new posts! But I promise, I’ll start actively posting again once this quarter ends! It is currently finals week, which means this quarter is just about over! I have a bunch of posts planned for the future, I just need to find the time to write them and make ’em perfect!
xoxo,
Eliz
