Better late than never, right?
I know, I know, I totally forgot to make my faves list. I’ve been so focused (tbh, more like stressing over) getting ready for college, that I’ve kind of been slacking on my blog. But, I move in this month, on the 18th, and I cannot wait! When college starts, I promise you I’ll have some exciting things to blog about! Maybe a dorm room tour or welcome week post?
Anyways, here are my faves from my last two months of summer!
- Resort 365 Planner (Aug. 2016 thru Dec. 2017), Lilly Pulitzer
I’m a huge fan of Lilly Pulitzer planners. I’m also very picky and stubborn about what I think a planner should have, but this one is perfect! The different features in Lilly Pulitzer planners help keep me organized and on track! I love that they have cute stickers, bright graphics, plenty of notes pages, a spot to plan future travels and itineraries, and a ton of space to write your schedule and to-do list! It’s kind of pricy, but I honestly think it’s totally worth it.
I never realized how difficult shopping for dorm bedding actually is. It’s kind of hard to find cute bedding in size Twin XL, but I’m so glad I stumbled upon Martha Stewart’s Whim Bedding collection! I totally fell in love with the playful, feminine, and whimsical prints, and ended up buying a bright and girly floral set for my dorm. Every single set is super adorable, and I’d buy all of them if I could! If you’re still searching for dorm bedding (or just bedding in general, they come in all sizes), you should def check out this line.
- Frick N’ Frack Liquid Lipstick, Colourpop
I wrote about Frick N’ Frack in this blog post, which was about my first time trying Colourpop products. Since publishing that post, I’ve been wearing Frick N’ Frack like everyday. I’m honestly in love with the color, how easy it is to apply, and how long it stays on. It’s from the Ultra Satin collection, which in my opinion is better than the matte lippies!
- Shimmer Bronzer (Radiate), Hikari
This bronzer is a life saver! It totally completes my everyday makeup look. Although it is highly pigmented and seems dark, I absolutely love how the shimmer is subtle on my tan skin and how it doesn’t stand out too much! I just sweep it over my cheekbones and I’m done!
- Everything, Everything, Nicola Yoon
I’m still blushing over the characters in this book. I’d go more in depth, but I already have this book review post about it!
- Balayage
If you follow me on instagram, you’d know that I recently got blonde balayage! I was really hesitant towards this trend, but i’m so glad I got it done! If you are against dying all of your hair, like I was, then definitely go for balayage.
Entertainment
- The First Monday in May, Andrew Rossi
This is a must-watch for all fashion lovers. I was so happy when I saw the documentary was finally on netflix! If you’re curious about what it takes to create the Met Gala, love seeing celebs in gorgeous gowns, or are obsessed with Anna Wintour (like me!), then you definitely have to watch this film.
- Marc E. Bassy
I’m obsessed with his very pretty voice and the lyrics in his songs. Enough said, go on spotify and stream his latest EP, Groovy People. (P.S. Last One I Love is the cutest fricking song, I can’t stop listening to it!)
xoxo,
